Resichlor: Quick Reference Guide

Species: Dogs

Ranges: Dermatology

An aid in  the treatment of superficial dermatitis associated with Staphylococcus intermedius in dogs.

Chlorhexidine is a potent antibacterial agent. It has a non-specific mode of action – it binds to the negatively charged surface of bacteria and fungi and depending on its’ concentration, exerts either a bactericidal, fungicidal or bacteriostatic effect.

Leave-On Lotion
Leave-on products persist for longer as they are not rinsed off. This prolongs the contact time of chlorhexidine, the active ingredient, and increases the residual activity. This enables the time between shampooing to be extended, and if shampooing compliance is poor, offers an alternative to shampooing.

It can be applied after a bath and between baths.

Great smell
Ideal for indoor pets which require a pleasant fragrance.
