PRODUCT STATEMENT

For the prevention of botulism caused by Clostridium botulinum types C and D

COMPOSITION

  • Aluminium adjuvanted toxoid and cellular antigen from:
    • Clostridium botulinum type C
    • Clostridium botulinum type D

WHAT IS WEBSTERS LOW VOLUME BIVALENT BOTULINUM VACCINE?

  • Provides active immunisation against botulism
  • Suitable for use in cattle and sheep

DOSAGE

Cattle:

  • 2mL dose by subcutaneous injection
  • Initial dose followed by a second dose 4 to 6 weeks later
  • Annual booster dose is recommended

Sheep:

  • 1mL dose by subcutaneous injection
  • Initial dose followed by a second dose 4 to 6 weeks later
  • This regime usually confers lifelong immunity

WITHHOLDING PERIODS/ESI

  • Meat/Milk: Nil
  • ESI: Not required

PRESENTATION

Liquid: 200mL, 500mL
