PRODUCT STATEMENT

For the prevention of cheesy gland caused by C. pseudotuberculosis, pulpy kidney (enterotoxaemia) caused by CI. perfringens type D, tetanus caused by CI. Tetani. For the treatment and prevention of vitamin B12 deficiency in sheep in areas known or suspected to be cobalt deficient.

COMPOSITION

  • Aluminium adjuvanted toxoid and cellular antigen from:
    • Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis (ovis)
    • Clostridium tetani
    • Clostridium perfringens type D
  • Vitamin B12 (hydroxocobalamin as acetate) 2mg/mL

WHAT IS WEBSTERS 3 IN 1 B12 VACCINE?

  • Prevents two clostridial diseases (pulpy kidney and tetanus)
  • Prevents cheesy gland
  • Contains a vitamin B12 supplement for the treatment and prevention of vitamin B12 deficiency
  • Suitable for use in lambs

DOSAGE

  • 1mL dose by subcutaneous injection (high on the neck behind the ear)
  • Lambs – Dose at marking followed by a second dose 4 to 6 weeks later (e.g. weaning). Annual booster dose will maintain a high level of immunity.
  • Ewes (fully vaccinated as lambs) – Annual booster dose. Administer 2 to 3 weeks prior to lambing if possible.
  • Slaughter lambs from vaccinated ewes – Dose at marking.
