PRODUCT STATEMENT

For the prevention of cheesy gland caused by C. pseudotuberculosis, pulpy kidney (enterotoxaemia) caused by CI. perfringens type D, tetanus caused by CI. tetani and the selenium responsive conditions white muscle disease and unthriftiness in lambs. For the treatment and prevention of vitamin B12 deficiency in sheep in areas known or suspected to be cobalt deficient.

COMPOSITION

  • Aluminium adjuvanted toxoid and cellular antigen from:
    • Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis (ovis)
    • Clostridium tetani
    • Clostridium perfringens type D
  • Selenium (as sodium selenate) 1mg/mL
  • Vitamin B12 (hydroxocobalamin as acetate) 2mg/mL

WHAT IS WEBSTERS 3 IN 1 B12 SE VACCINE?

  • Prevents two clostridial diseases (pulpy kidney and tetanus)
  • Prevents cheesy gland
  • Contains selenium for the prevention of white muscle disease and unthriftiness in lambs
  • Contains a vitamin B12 supplement for the prevention of vitamin B12 deficiency
  • Suitable for use in lambs
  • Only for use in selenium deficient areas

DOSAGE

  • 1mL dose by subcutaneous injection (high on the neck behind the ear)
  • Lambs – Dose at marking followed by a second dose 4 to 6 weeks later (e.g. weaning). Annual booster dose will maintain a high level of immunity.
  • Ewes (fully vaccinated as lambs) – Annual booster dose. Administer 2 to 3 weeks prior to lambing if possible.
  • Slaughter lambs from vaccinated ewes – Dose at marking.
