If a horse owner follows the Gold Standard Worming Program as recommended, and the horse's worming does not provide the expected efficacy, Virbac will cover the investigation, diagnostics, and replacement dose where applicable - guaranteed.

Outcome & Support
If expected efficacy was not achieved despite correct use, we will cover approved diagnostic costs and provide a replacement product where the quality of the supplied Virbac product has been determined to be the cause or otherwise in Virbac’s discretion.
Verification process
Virbac may request:
- Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice)
- Product details (batch number, expiry date and date of administration)
- Horse details (age, estimated weight at time of administration)
- Diagnostic results to determine efficacy, where relevant
- Veterinary case history where relevant
- Confirmation of correct program usage

If, after consulting with your veterinarian, you believe your treatment has not achieved expected efficacy:
Virbac will investigate based on the verification process detailed above. If a treatment failure is confirmed,
Virbac will provide a replacement dose from their range where the quality of the supplied Virbac product
has been determined by Virbac to be the cause or otherwise in Virbac’s discretion or compensate for an
Australian alternative if no suitable Virbac product exists. No compensation is offered if no effective
treatment is available in Australia, such as in cases of established property resistance. This is an
outcome-focused care guarantee, not a cash refund.
