  • Validation Engineer (Macquarie Park, NSW)

    We are you looking for a bright, enthusiastic, motivated Validation Engineer to join our diverse Macquarie Park team.

    This is an ideal opportunity for you to demonstrate your knowledge in validation processes to help us deliver quality products that are compliant with all regulatory requirements for both local and international markets.

    In this role, your key areas of accountability will include:

    • Validation Studies
    • Documentation and Validation tracking
    • Production support
    • Project Management

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    • Sound knowledge of the fundamentals of Validation, Chemistry, process contract, calibration, metrology and statistics
    • An understanding of current GMP regulatory standards and technical guidelines relating to the pharmaceutical industry
    • An understanding of processes associated with manufacture, testing and distribution of pharmaceuticals.
    • Project management experience - very important
    • Strong technical writing and communication skills
    • Ability to analyse problems and situations
    • The ability to anticipate and plan
    • Strong customer focus
    • Drive and results orientation

    A tertiary qualification in Science and/or Engineering and a minimum of 2 years experience in a validation role within a related industry, (preferably biopharmaceutical) is essential.

  • Head of Macquarie Park Site (Macquarie Park, NSW)

    We have a great opportunity for someone to join the Macquarie Park team in this key leadership role.

    In this role, you will be responsible for managing, planning, directing and co-ordinating production activities and site compliance at Macquarie Park to FDA and EU standards.

    The key areas of accountability for this role will include:

    • People management – delivering a high-performing, motivated team
    • Member of the Industrial Leadership Team – creating and supporting an aligned, results driven and motivating culture across the industrial operations business
    • Maintaining product supply to meet demand – ensuring MPS deadlines are met
    • Production Management and Optimisation – ensuring quality products are delivered on time and within budget
    • Regulatory Compliance – ensuring regulatory compliance is maintained at all times, strongly focussed on FDA and EU GMP.
    • Budget management – ensuring budget targets are met
    • Process Improvement - initiating process improvement projects and monitoring performance and efficiency.

    To be successful in this role you will have:

    • Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and compliance regulations with expert focus on FDA and TGA, including the ability to read and interpret domestic and international standards and guidance
    • In-depth technical knowledge of manufacturing practices, QC practices & test methods, validation, processes, capability and capacity including ability to review and understand new processes and equipment
    • Knowledge of HR practices associated with management of people
    • Knowledge of ‘lean’ concepts, continuous improvement and including familiarisation with the Virbac Industrial system
    • Strong skills in planning and execution ensuring alignment to business goals
    • Understanding of financial issues related to industrial activity

  • Industrial Development Manager (Macquarie Park, NSW)

    We have a unique opportunity available for someone interested in joining the Macquarie Park team where you can help shape and grow the business.     Reporting to the Head of Macquarie Park Site, you will be responsible for implementing and managing project related activities that will increase site capacity, providing technical assistance and enabling technology transfer. In addition, you will manage validation activities on site.

    • Sound knowledge of GMP and the current regulatory environment with regard to TGA, APVMA, EMA and US FDA and how they impact on current procedures and future improvements

    We are looking for our new Head of Industrial Supply Chain based at the Penrith manufacturing facility.

    This important role is responsible for the management of all Supply Chain functions (Demand, Purchasing, Planning and Distribution) across Operations to ensure supplies of raw materials and finished goods are available within required timeframes and budgets. In addition, this role forms part of the Industrial Leadership Team contributing to the creation of an aligned, results driven and motivating culture across Industrial Operations.

    Your key areas of accountability for this role will include:

    • Supply Chain Optimisation
    • Purchasing
    • Planning
    • Inventory
    • Warehouse & Distribution
    • MRP Maintenance

    To be successful in this role you will have:

    • Expert knowledge in Inventory Control and management of Third Party Contract suppliers

  • Production Manager (Crookwell, NSW)

    We have a great opportunity for someone to join our Crookwell team in the role of Production Manager. This is an ideal opportunity for you to increase your knowledge of the business and learn new skills. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the scheduling, maintenance and manufacturing activities based on customer needs, production and facility optimisation and regulatory compliance in order to guarantee products are produced under the best performance, quality, dead line and cost conditions.

    In this role you will be responsible for directing the daily activities of the production team as well as finished goods transfers in order to ensure adherence with the site master schedule liaising with planning.

    Your key areas of accountability for this role will include:

    • People Management – to create, develop and retain an aligned, high-performing, motivated team of people to achieve the desired outcomes of the department.
    • Maintaining product supply to meet demand – to meet the master production schedule in order to minimise backorders and increase DIFOT
    • Administrative tasks including Movex transactions
    • Quality and compliance – to meet existing and future regulatory requirements
    • Production optimisation and project management – to meet the required goals of productivity/continuous improvement and achieve project completions within set timeframes.
    • Operating within approved budget – ensure budget targets are met an all CAPEX requests are prepared in theagreed time frame.

    To be successful in this role you will have:

    • Knowledge of HR practices associated with management of people
    • Thorough knowledge or production manufacturing processes and regulations
    • Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and compliance regulations with the ability to interpret standards and guidance documents
    • Sound knowledge of GMP
    • General business knowledge of budget management
    • Demonstrated knowledge of continuous improvement concepts
    • Experience using ERP systems (Movex).
