For the prevention of botulism in cattle and sheep, caused by Clostridium botulinum types C and D.
Aluminium adjuvanted toxoid and cellular antigen from:
Cattle:
Dosage: 2 mL dose by subcutaneous injection, (under the skin, NOT into the muscle).
Cattle of all ages: 2 mL dose followed by a second 2 mL dose 4 to 6 weeks later. A 2 mL annual booster dose is recommended. Optimal immunity requires 2 doses of 2 mL each, 4 to 6 weeks apart. However, the giving of the second 2 mL dose is not always possible in extensive pastoral areas. In these circumstances the immunity produced by a single 2 mL dose will provide worthwhile protection.
Immunity develops within 14 days of vaccination.
Sheep:
Dosage: 1 mL dose by subcutaneous injection, (under the skin, NOT into the muscle).
Sheep of all ages: 1 mL dose followed by a second 1 mL dose 12 months later. This usually
confers lifelong immunity.
Store between 2ºC and 8ºC (Refrigerate. DO NOT FREEZE). Protect from light
Liquid: 500 mL
