WHAT IS OXFEN® LV?

  • A white or (Benzimidazole (BZ)) class drench
  • Low volume formulation
  • Broad spectrum worm control, including tapeworm
  • Short acting
  • Registered for goats
  • Ovicidal

RECOMMENDED FOR

  • Your white drench rotation

OXFEN LV contains oxfendazole, a member of the benzimidazole drench family. If white drenches are still effective on your property, OXFEN LV offers the opportunity to rotate away from macrocyclic lactones (MLs) or levamisole (clear) drenches.

  • Broad spectrum worm control

OXFEN LV will control all major roundworms (except whipworms) that are susceptible to a BZ drench. These worms reduce overall productivity especially in young animals. Weight gains and wool growth can be affected significantly. OXFEN LV also controls tapeworm.

WHY CHOOSE OXFEN LV?

  • Low volume formulation

A low volume formulation means you are giving smaller doses per animal, whilst still getting the same amount of active ingredient. This is an advantage when large numbers of sheep are being treated or you are treating very heavy sheep. The low volume allows easier and quicker drenching.

  • Registered for goats

There are very few drenches registered for use in goats. OXFEN LV has been used safely by goat producers across Australia for many years, and continues to be one of the more popular drenches used in the goat industry.

  • Ovicidal

Oxfendazole is ovicidal in sheep and goats, ensuring that roundworm eggs passed in the dung are rendered infertile, reducing the potential for further pasture contamination

  • Short acting

Ideal to use when persistence is not required like when moving animals onto stubble or newly established pasture.
